Hi guys,its really an important event in human history when a £4.4 billion machine get switched on Wednesday,10 September,2008.According to CERN ,the world's largest particle physics laboratory is The device is designed to replicate conditions that existed just a fraction of a second after the Big Bang, and its creators hope it will unlock the secrets of how the universe began."The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) could allow it to become a black-hole factory with a production rate as high as about one per second." But other scientist from same filed told news media that this device could create Black hole even we don't know that it happened.And after at least 4 year after this device get own start showing it effect.
In this video report Dr. Walter L. Wagner discusses the potential destruction of our planet earth by creating micro black holes and strangelets with the LHC. He indicates the current CERN safety reports are seriously flawed and contain unacceptable risks.
For example, if micro black holes are created, which CERN estimates about 1 micro black hole every second, Dr. Rossler's calculations estimate 50 months to 50 years to grow large enough to destroy Earth.

Latest in CERN experiment,the legal battle comes as the European Nuclear Research Centre (CERN), in Geneva, prepares to send the first beam of particles around the machine at the official switch on, on September 10, although it will be several weeks before the first particles are collided together.
Opponents of the project had hoped to obtain an injunction from the European Court of Human Rights that would block the collider from being turned on at all, but the court rejected the application on Friday morning. However, the court will rule on allegations that the experiment violates the right to life under the European Convention of Human Rights.
Professor Otto Rössler, a German chemist at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen who is one of the most vocal opponents of the LHC and was one of the scientists who submitted the complaint to the court, said: "CERN itself has admitted that mini black holes could be created when the particles collide, but they don't consider this a risk.

We think its not just a lab experiment where you could do what you want to do.Its about over own existence and existence of this planet. At least we don't want to know so called secret of begins of universes on the shake of over own existence. And we think this time also they are not going to get success itself.

The LHC is a dangerous machine indeed but there is no way this machine is going to create black holes! And there is no way black holes start to show their effect after 4 years and take 50 to eat our planet. where can i read the report of the so called "Dr Rossler" ? And what the hell does everything have to do with 2012 all the sudden? That is only the date when according to the mayan calender we step in to a new age of time. I'm sick and tired of all idiots that does not see with their own eyes and does not think with their own brains.

Hmmm... think you are wrong U.B! There are people who are interested in what happened at the beginning of the universe - just after the Big Bang & depending on the results of any collisions - if they happen - it will determine whether the Higgs or 'God' particle does exist. This is a huge event for physics, cosmology & quantum mechanics!
Of course - it may be that the LHC could run for several years with no collisions (Fermi? in US has been unsuccesful so far in looking for these particles) but then LHC could also turn into the mini black hole factory... or even big black hole factory that some are scared of as they have it in their heads that our planet will be ripped apart by them...! But then there is the theory that a black hole & white hole link the Bermuda Triangle with the Mariannas Trench... & they haven't ripped us apart yet!
The UK's BBC did an interesting programme (available on their iplayer at the moment) about it - its not as technial as a 4 year old report but it was recorded this year & is plain english so none of the misinterpretation & scare mongering! As for 2012... it makes me laugh all this chosen poeple & new age/era stuff! If you check out the astrological calculations it all relates to planetary configurations & solar flares & the fact we'll have to go back to writing letters & actually talking to each other as the peak in solar flare radiation due at that time is going to knock out satellite links & thus mobile phones, internet & anything else not done down a good old buried wire! Thats assuming we don't just get fried worshipping Sol!

The Cern Courier article is four years old - don't ya think they would've been developing the LHC and its electromagnetic containment fields etc in the meantime and not letting it gather dust particles??? Even the physicists at CERN are skeptical of creating a visible black hole... they are more concerned with finding the particles created by the god partcle so they can prove it exists! and then there are others who'd think it was great if the god particle didn't exist!
As for QM - there are those that connect quantum mechanics to parapsychology... now that IS b.s my friend! :)

Hmm.. interesting idea! OK, how do any of us exist then? For what created God (whichever religion is followed)? something had to create him (or her) for them to have created Earth and life on it, or to have at least created the means for life to evolve on Earth.
Hence the God particle is the same for physics and science as God is the same for religion.
I don't know anything about Shunya but even if there is no singularities, and the expanding universe results in rebound and contraction at some point, there could be era's between these oscillations and still man would never find out what caused them and what came before the God particle, as man is unlikely to figure a way to survive being squashed & crushed down so small... although he might like to try!!!
So even if you try & say God made the God particle, then blew it up... the question woud be what made God?? & like the chicken & egg, we will never know, west or east.

Hey interesting link re Shunya. So, when creation starts both time & space are formed i.e the Big Bang. & before this ‘the Absolute’ existed in this shunya state i.e. total dark vacuum, yeah?
