Mr Dean doesn't actually state categorically that it's a space port. He makes a flippant comment initially but then goes on to qualify it by saying that he doesn't know for sure what it is, only that it's obviously some sort of installation built by intelligent beings.
Don't put words in his mouth, it's hard enough to hold onto credibility in this field without over zealous fans veering away from the facts.
I don't know if he got confused or what, but at 6:05 area he says "I was a Senior Master Sergeant" and then around 23:54 he says "I retired a Command Sergeant Major" these two seperate ranks are from different service components. The first being AF and second Army...What's his background, was he in both services...If you're in the service, you should not forget your rank...
