Last year we here at UFO-Blogger informed our readers that New Jersey UFO Footage was a deliberate UFO Hoax. And also reported that how Criminal charges were also filled against Morristown, New Jersey UFO hoaxers.Yet again pranksters staged another deliberate hoax by releasing solar balloon over Somerset County,New jersey.
According to media reports on may 12th,2010 Somerville police were flooded with phone calls this morning after residents reported seeing a large tube-like object fluttering through the sky.
Police said they were swamped with phone calls after a flurry of callers reported to radio station NJ 101.5 that a UFO was flying above the area. Residents then began calling the Somerville Police Department to report the object.
“I first noticed when all our mechanics started looking up at the sky,” said Terry Weil, a sales associate at Honda Autosport in Bridgewater. “It looked like a big black strip fluttering in the air. Maybe a cylinder.”
Somerville Police Lt. Donna Young said authorities were not sure what the object was, but said it caused no problems other than tying up police phone lines shortly before noon.
“We have no idea what it was but it did not cause any problems here in Somerville,” she said. “We are under the impression that it might be a weather balloon or something like that, but regardless, it did not cause any problems whatsoever.”
The Air Traffic Control Tower in Morristown did not have any pilot reports of the object, nor did officials at Solberg Airport in Hunterdon, Somerset Airport in Bedminster and Blairstown Airport in Warren County.
Down below video footage will explain the above sighting of so called UFO.

We already know that UFOs can easily be hoaxed, and we do not need any proof of that from skeptics. A perplexing lot...who doubtlessly subscribe to Fourteen Times but believe in none of it, at least in public...we don't believe that the many true professionals who report UFOs are lying, and those include those we trust in authority, in the skies, etc. They are not hoaxers.
UFO experts are called so because they actually use scientific reasoning to assess UFOs.No hokum. It takes guts to swim against the tide, and more courage than a sniper. There are frauds out there, and skeptics are better focusing their attention to exposing charlatans wherever they may be. They should not however denigrate the work of those who doggedly pursue evidence in the case of the UFO.
And Now the Big Question is ?
Why is this different than any other two juvenile delinquents pulling the fire alarm at the local high school and watching from behind a tree while the firemen try to do their job?
Why is this different than someone falsely reporting they were robbed at gun point?
Bart Simpson reporting little Timmy fell down the well, just to get attention.
Its not.
This was a waste of public and private resources not to mention a potential safety threat to local air traffic. The only thing it’s proven is that anyone can be a public menace and cause local officials to waste tax payer dollars.
There are hundreds of legitimate UFO sightings world wide from private and professional people in all walks of life every year.
When a solid metallic air craft of “some kind” outruns the fastest highly advanced billion dollar fighter jets on the planet and then goes straight up into space at thousands of miles per hour from a stand still is it your contention that this is a 15 minute flair tied to a balloon?
We are truly sorry that the very thought of sharing the entire universe with other beings frightens you so badly that you need to belittle the real heroes and pioneers who try to investigate and learn from all that we see in our world.
Start reading some of the leading science reports my friends. They are predicting there are hundreds of thousands of Earth like planets in our own Milky Way.Tens of thousands of them have the potential for advanced intelligent life.

you UFO buffs are just too much. always calling for the heads of those who do these types of hoaxes.
ok here i go, let's see if you have the confidence to post this in the end.
first of all, you have no idea if this was an intentional hoax or something else. granted, its most likely just a balloon in the sky, but you have clue as to why it was released.
second, referring to the hoax you refer to last year in morristown, the hoaxers were never charged criminally. they were charged with causing a domestic disturbance; a municipal ordinance, not criminal charges. also, what are these private resources going to waste that you are bitching about? your taxes don't go up when people call 911 i'm sorry to say. you don't pay extra when a cop who is using radar to catch speeders has to respond to a balloon in the sky. you all love to throw that out there as some kind of reason to throw the book at these people, but you only expose how little you understand about how you tax dollars are used and allocated. think of something better and smarter next time you want to rant.
there is almost definitely intelligent life somewhere else in the universe (those morristown hoaxers said that all along, i believe)...the evidence that they are traveling billions of miles for millions of years to give us a quick light show and scare the hell out of people in somerville, nj is practically implausible.
its a sexy thought that there are aliens among us and they are visiting us from time to time, but in reality its just wishful thinking by people who are desperate for some kind human-to-human relationship (hence they search for ET) or don't want to take the time to do real science. the lack of evidence and implausibility regarding the physics of the whole thing should convince you to find a more fulfilling hobby. maybe tennis.
UB - Blogger thanks for exposing this latest Hoax...even a 3rd grader can figure our it was just a balloon !
@ Jeff - We who believe and knows they are real are always been better than.... you fucking Redneck Dumass jerk who just believe in hoaxing.
If Morristown hoaxer are your hero go and lick there dicks...
@ Ananymous- Great comment! Why do you think the idea of extra terrestrial life visiting this planet is disregarded as the pass time of hippies and weirdos? It's because of comments like that. Jeff has provided a sensible and coherant argument and all you can think of as a retort is abuse. If you want the subject to recieve more main stream attention and get taken seriously, then hurling abuse at those who oppose your ideas is not the way to go about it, it simply runs down the image of the community of people who do believe in extra terrestrial life, one of which is me, so i don't appreciate it.
@Jeff- It seems arrogant to disregard the idea of life from other planets to have visited us. We have no idea of the kinds of technology that are yet to be discovered by the human race. We are in no possition to speculate over how long it would take to travel from some distant planet to our own when the idea of doing so is simply not a possibility for our species. For all we know, there may exist technologies that allow alien species to cover these distances in the blink of an eye. As for their purpose, i would tend to agree with you that their purpose here being to scare a bunch of people seems most unlikely. I suggest instead that they are here as scientists, studying a foreign world of which they wish to extend their knowledge the same way we study the bottom of the ocean. I hope i have provided a more coherant ad reasoned response to your comments that our anonymous friend above.
