Photo clearly shows burned flesh on the left side of the whale body. This whale was burned either alive or after it died to hide the evidence.
These various articles used to have this bp whale photo attached with it but now they do not have anymore now ..

I know how you feel! For the past hour or so since I first laid eyes on this picture, I've been experiencing random waves of inexplicable nausea. Similarly, ever since I heard about the oil spill, I've been experiencing frequent feelings of despair. It's awful, a catastrophe of, well...biblical proportions.
Terrible and Completely heartbreaking. How is it that this is still going on?
