Brilliant monologues by Serling and Meredith .... A couple of these cases were unfamiliar to me, e.g. the abduction of the female and her friends by the humanoid. Just because the humanoid made her feel at ease, doesn't mean it's intentions were benign. Actually, an abduction against one's free will is an indication of hostility (Karla Turner). Personally, I view that particular case as a confrontation with a renegade angel. Angels are humanoids and certainly don't have wings of any sort. In everyday life, one couldn't visually distinguish an angel from a human. The Holy Bible is full of references to various classes of divine (timeless) beings with actual wings, but angels aren't members of those classes.
My theory about bible accounts of angels is that up until 100 years ago, there was no commonly understood way of communicating the concept of flight without appropriating the wings of birds. If I were an ancient person, documenting my account of an experience with otherworldly flying beings, I would have used wings as a method of explaining the concept of a flying being. Hence humanoid beings with wings.
