Now in latest development the comet has grown. Now the diameter of it’s outer coma exceeded 200,000 km/1,24,274 Miles of course, at this time we have only low resolution images, but they still allow us to estimate its current size.
We want to remind you that the outer coma, it’s very discharged gas envelope, not the nucleus itself, estimates of the nucleus size has not changed.
On the left picture you can see the comet itself, as well as the angular size of the Sun, if it was located at the same distance as comet.Impressive? Source: spaceobs.org
We want to remind you that Elenin comet (C2010 X1 ) is a long period objects in elliptical Orbit:
long period Objects are a big danger for the inner Planets. There are different reasons for that.
long period Objects are a big danger for the inner Planets. There are different reasons for that.
First historical: LPO are not recognised in the younger human history, and therefore forgotten. Only written down in metaphor and symbolic languages from ancients culture, like the Atlantians Sumerian and also recorded to the old testament.
Second scientific: LPO with an elliptical Orbit of ~11800 Years, can not have a small mass, that is simple given from the law of physics. Objects with smaller mass having short elliptical Orbit, from 2 up to 1000 years or so, like Asteroids or Comets.
Therefore: Objects with bigger mass staying in long period Orbits. The fact that Elenin comet (C2010 X1 ) enters our solar system close to the ecliptic with a Period of ~11’800 Years, makes this Object very dangerous. So it is good to keep an eye on it.

I really hope that comet doesnt hurt us.....I don't want to see the world end....that's so sad......it can't end ....it just can't.......that's so sad to think about :((( I hope hope hope that something counters it :( I don't want it all to end :(
ReplyDeleteI hope it Will wash away this hell hole.....
ReplyDelete^ Could'nt have said it better!
ReplyDeleteNothing to worry about, it will simply appear as a big blue bright light in the sky. The Hopi "predicted" this as part of the "end times", which of course, aren't actually end times but a new beginning without the negative being involvement in ruling the world, heaven on Earth as it were!
ReplyDeletei guess, we´re just another failed generation, not worth saving... like the mayans, egypts and greek before us :/
ReplyDeletenoone saved them, when elenin passed by 6k years ago, else we wouldn´t have restarted with this barbarism called middle age/modern day... if we had the time to evolve a longer timespan than that, we might get a chance to banish all this evil, we are controlled by and start a world of our own....
as it stands now, those evil guys behind the curtains are going to survive this anyway- be it on their mars base, or in their giant underground shelters :/
i dont have a clue, how our next generation of mankind might evolve, but i can already tell you, that this ancient evil will preserve and prosper again, to slave this cursed race once more, until it perishes again come elenin :(
why does this cycle have to be this sad? :/
LMAO at both of the previous anon comments. The world wont end. Clue: these things were written about in the past and passed down generation to generation or thru the various writings wich also survived. Stands to reason that the earth and many of those in it survived.
ReplyDeleteThe guy who said the world would end.. dude you need to get laid probably.
^ lol the two previous comments pretty much sum up the nature of human beings.
ReplyDeleteI doubt it will hit us

i want it to end. death would be FAR better than the shit thats going on now. and its only going to get worse. MUCH worse. however. im against suicide so. im stuck here.
seconds. yea it will probably be countered. humans have yet to reach the next stage in their development. other lifeforms seem to be studying us rather often. either they are watchin us for sport or they are waiting for something. my vote is they are waiting for something.
Do a little investigation on your own people.
ReplyDeleteOn 16 October 2011, the comet will make it's closest approach to the Earth at a distance of 0.2338 AU (34,980,000 km; 21,730,000 mi).
That's over 90x the distance from the earth to the moon.
Comet Elenin not a threat. Watch for Comet Typhon appearing in the constellation of Capricorn, if and when it comes, that might be interesting.
ReplyDeleteThe electromagnetic pulse coming off this comet will cause major destruction to not only our world but others in our solar system. It is already affecting the larger outer planets.Time is very short for us my friends.
ReplyDeleteOK Elenin has fizzeld out? Not like other comets that break apart (shoe levye 9 or the othe that expoded and caused a light show) It just got fainer! Mabye the ice layr just burnt off and the big rock has gone black. I was never worried about Elenin.. but now maybe?
