This doco explained 'fractional reserve lending', where the bank only keeps a fraction of the money in the reserve, not ALL of the money. If the banks kept all of the money in the reserve and simply created money,

3.Inflation would be through the roof if there were endless supplies of cash. It doesn't add up that banks 'create' money.

Good documentary however i would of liked a section of the documentary to deal with religon as 95% of worlds population believes in some kind of higher power. The lack of this sends a message to the viewer that theres no room for god in this new world they invisage towards the end of the documentary.

The issue is money creates false sense of scarcity. We need a better construct other than money. I suggest a resource based type social structure. Shame that it looks like the makers have removed the film from free release. I watched the first 80 minutes the other day and have come back to watch the rest but will not be paying the $5 they want to see the rest. This goes against the grain of what they are trying to preach and i won't be able to recoment it to the dozens of people who i otherwise would have! What a shame! Think they have shot themselves in the foot!
