I AM is an utterly engaging and entertaining non-fiction film that poses two practical and provocative questions: what’s wrong with our world, and what can we do to make it better?
The filmmaker behind the inquiry is Tom Shadyac, one of Hollywood’s leading comedy practitioners and the creative force behind such blockbusters as “Ace Ventura,” “Liar Liar,” “The Nutty Professor,” and “Bruce Almighty.” However, in I AM, Shadyac steps in front of the camera to recount what happened to him after a cycling accident left him incapacitated, possibly for good.
Though he ultimately recovered, he emerged with a new sense of purpose,determined to share his own awakening to his prior life of excess and greed, and to investigate how he as an individual, and we as a race, could improve the way we live and walk in the world.

ReplyDeleteHe never said anything about one world government. As long as there is a government we aint going anywhere. He said we need to unite as ONE. ONE kind. ONE HUMANITY... I read and heard about this a lot. He just puts it nicely together. This for us "conspiracy theorist" is all common knowledge. Just for the people in the unknown it is very important to share. THX

ReplyDeleteI saw the movie in sf in 2011 when it premiered. The director did a Q&A afterwards.

I think it should be required viewing for kids.
The message had the potential to effect change, but sadly distribution lacked. It was never really picked up by theaters outside art houses in select cities.
He was lucky to get rich and therefore to find the time to rethink his life and the way of living. I am working my ass day by day and have no really much time to think of the world problems and my position in it, unfortunately.

Very powerful, i suppose as a species we are begining to wake up but TV propaganda is a massive hurdle negative imagies is the main criteria infecting the minds faster than bacteria
