ReplyDeleteI saw a series of UFOs over Melbourne, Thornbury area last night Dec 31 2012 between 11pm and about 1 pm. An orange star like light that crossed in front of the moon one time casting a shadow. It hovered a while and then disappeared each time. It appeared about 7 times following a similar flight path. Made no sound.
ReplyDeletewe saw it in Templestowe for about 10 min. It was a bright orange glow, looked like a candle flame but large in size. maybe 1/4 size of the moon. Moved across the sky in a straight line , stopped, then moved up into the sky until it disappeared.
DeleteSaw the same thing, an i am in Pascoe Vale. It was quite slowly for a good few minutes moving North from the city. It stopped , pretty much right above us then disappeared. It was very high up though, i tried filming it but my phone couldn't pick it up, i noticed it just after 12:30.
DeleteI saw the same thing. BUT there was three of them near Atlanta Ga at about 11:35PM the were bright burnt orange & no sound to them at all. the hovered over our trees for about two mins and them left so fast.
DeleteOmg I seen the same orange orbs 4 come out and they faded away and three more today jan 1 2013 at 750pm in north highlands California it is very strange sighting happening at similar time maybe there's something coming that we just don't know , 7 orange lights that fade in the same payers something is going on that we don't know .
DeleteI saw it with my wife and kids at Grandview Park Marshall County westvirginia. it looked like it was just above the ohio river. it did not move at all and looked to be as big as a small house!!!
DeleteI saw the same formation over grand coulee wa around 11-11:45. I saw one bight white light and 5 other red lights that was in a kind of c in the sky. the red light slowly moved into each other. strangest thing I have ever seen. was a little skeptic. now I believe!
DeleteI just found this post doing a random Google search for my personal research. I have always wanted to share my experience since it happened in 2011.
DeleteOne night around 9:something me and my twins sister were sitting outside of the apartment smoking a cigarette when we both witnessed a bright burned orange (almost red-ish) bright light going insanely fast across the night sky. I immediately thought "what the h* is that!" I knew it was going way too fast to be aircraft. I could not tell whether the object/light was coming or going. I remember being marveled and not being able to take my eyes off of it (my sister and I both.) It was there for about 2 or 3 minutes and then instantaneously disappeared. I also remember gasping for air, I was just that shocked. I am convinced that we saw a UFO in the sky that night. It's planted in my memory... :o
forgot to mention that the UFO was silent as well
DeleteMy sister and my neighbors parents spotted a UFO in the form of an orange spot in the sky in California on January 1st, 2014 around 1 P.M. My neighbor described it as a small orange blur that sat in the sky. She claimed it to be a UFO but her husband and my sister didn't believe her until the next day they saw that many others had seen this object.
DeleteI see em man!
ReplyDeletei was in reservoir looking easterly at midnight saw 3 light in a triangle formation moving slowly for about 5 minutes or so. then were covered by clouds / smoke from the fireworks
ReplyDeleteJan1, 2013 Jacksonville, Fl. I spotted 3 glowing red and orangish flying objects in the sky flying inward from the Atlantic ocean to the west. Slow moving 2 of them seemed to merge very very close together. Almost hitting each other. the thirs was farther back. I ran in the house to get my husband and he watched them too. It was bizarre. These were not any aircraft or Helos I have ever seen. It was as if they were watching the planet have fire explosions due to the fireworks everywhere. The slowly moved out of our site.
ReplyDeleteJacksonville, FL
I saw the same thing in Fernandina, The group I was with thought it was BS and went inside. It is strange that these were seen in multiple locations around the US.
Deletelast night i stood out the front of my house in Reservoir, vic. looking easterly watching the fireworks and three red dots slowly making its way accross the sky. the the dots were in a triangle formation and did not leave this formation or size until they disapeared
ReplyDeleteI live in Cobb County Ga. On December 31th about 11:27pm my family & I saw three red glowing objects hovering over our trees for about 2 mins. They had NO sound to them & moved slowly then fast like then stopped. I have never seen anything like it ever. I have read a few others incounters & some from the same date sounds so much like what we saw.
ReplyDeleteMy family & I saw 3 bright burnt orange crafts over our trees for 2 mins. they were silent & made the shape of a triangle. I have never seen anything like it in my life.
ReplyDeleteNew years eve about 11pm MST, my friends and I saw a loose formation of objects moving over downtown Phoenix. There were 7 yellow/orange objects, uniform in appearance, no blinking, flickering or shimmering, heading east. They could have been 1 to 2 thousand feet in altitude. Anyone else see this?
ReplyDeleteOMG! I have been looking all over the net for this. Last night my son was outside watching the New Year fireworks over Melbourne, when he spotted two orange lights in the sky, at first he thought they were fireworks and was waiting for them to explode, but then he thought they were going too high to be fireworks, then one stopped and moved off horizontally, he come running in to tell me, and I laughed at him, saying they were obviously fireworks. Seemingly, it is not uncommon for these sightings during fireworks. Camouflage perhaps???
ReplyDeleteI am glad others have seen it.. Thought i was going mad!! I am in MElbourne too and saw the same thing, but i only saw the one red /orange object. I saw it just after 12:30am into the New Year, as it was a clear night and the stars looked pretty awesome , then i spotted the object moving, stopping, moving again. It was very high up. I was watching it for about 5 minutes, then it just vanished. I have never believed in UFO's, but after seeing footage and hearing the same stories from all over the world, it was something i have never seen before and can't explain! Tried filming it on my phone, but couldn't pick it up.. Nothing has been mentioned in the media at all, which also makes me think it was definitely something!!!
Delete1-1-2013 at 12:03 am we saw four orange glowing objects moving across the sky in the Manassas Virginia area. They were in a straight line formation. The first three were equally spaced and the fourth was further behind.
ReplyDeleteWe saw 7 last night in sarasota florida. all had that fiery orange glow, but one appeared to be rising from the south making its way northwest over our house...has soon as it got above our heads the light went out but we were able to see the shape continue moving over our house and towards downtown sarasota until it was past the tree line and we couldnt see it anymore. there was no sounds and the shape appeared to be rolling or rotating. i have never ever seen anything like that in my life!
ReplyDeleteI saw those too.....saw seven as well....over Midnight Pass going North....right after fireworks....
DeleteThen I talked to this Lady working at Starbucks and she had seen them too... she had gotten video of them. I was unable to get a Smart Phone video of them. I was actually searching for others who may have seen them too. From my vantage point they came in waves. 3 then 1 then 3. Two of the first three almost looked connected they were moving in such perfect unison
At about 12:47 am on new years we were outside on the porch when we saw this weird look object flying around it would get close and then leave it moved in all directions their were about 2 or 3 and then they disapeared rapidly by the way this happened in miami
ReplyDeletewe did saw it too . It was not a plane or a helicopter it was really bright like a fireball then it disappeared w live in Doral FL
DeleteWe saw something similar here in Miami FL around same time (around 1am). We were driving on 826 Highway (Palmetto) when suddenly we saw 3 orange flame like looking fireballs cross over the highway and they kept moving towards the west. They weren't going super fast either, almost like they wanted to be seen.
ReplyDeleteWe saw many of these objects flying in two groups, one group north of Sunset drive and one group south of Sunset drive near 137 ave in Miami on 1-1-13 at 12:38AM. They were traveling west from the east following one by one in a line. They were pale orange with a reddesh glowing sometimes pinkish bottom color. They traveled at a steady rapid pace but not very fast. They appeared or seemed to be at about cloud height.
DeleteI saw the same thing in Victoria, TX about ten til midnight.
ReplyDeleteSalem, Oregon USA Just at midnight 1/1/2013 I looked out my back bedroom window to see fireworks and saw two golden orange orbs moving slowly across the sky, steady glowing light, larger than a plane. One was in front of and slightly to the side of the second one. I ran out my front door and they crossed the sky to the front of my building, now almost side by side, moving more slowly. There was no sound. Wish I'd grabbed the video camera!
ReplyDeleteLast night (new years eve) I was on a party boat on Clear Lake, Texas, with my wife. At approximately 10:30PM, We and about 8 other people noticed a bright amber light approaching us from the southeast. This thing was fast but absolutely silent. We estimated the altitude to be around 1000 to 1500 feet and speed was in the ballpark of 300 to 400 miles per hour but this is difficult to gauge at night time. There were no blinking lights. Just a bright amber light. Others on the boat described it as a bright, fast-moving "orb" as it seemed to have an "aura" about it (but it was a rainy night which could explain said "aura"). It shocked most who saw it. It quickly passed us, quietly drifted off into the distance and a few seconds later, the light simply vanished. The general consensus was "holy crap, what did we just witness?".
ReplyDeleteI live in Napa, California and last night on New Years Eve at almost exactly midnight, I got up to feed my baby. I think she woke up because of the firework noise. I was sitting in a chair and decided to peek out the window blinds to see if I could see any fireworks in my neighborhood. I saw at least four, maybe five bright orangish lights above the house across our street. At first look, I thought I was seeing fireworks, but they didn't fade at all. I continued to watch the lights. They were in a somewhat vertical line, but then the second from the top moved slightly to the left as the others stayed still. I was shocked by this movement. I couldn't figure out what they were. They shined very bright, were not stars and not airplanes. After maybe a minute, they slowly ascended into the sky and faded. The movement was nothing I have seen before. They all moved independent of each other and not in straight lines. I have never witnessed anything so strange or unidentified in the sky.
ReplyDeleteI was in downtown Napa at Fagiani's rooftop
DeleteDeck and witnessed the same strange orange/red light. At first I though it might have been a plain but after five mins of clear watching I realized it was defiantly something stranger. It was a single red glowing light the moves slowly and faded and got brighter then faded again and got bright one last time then disappeared. I thought I saw a smaller red light shoot off vertically from it as well.
I live in toronto last night january 1 2013 about 1 am in the morning i was getting some air on the balcony when at first i saw a red light coming from the downtown area of toronto at first i thought it was a plane then the light turned left and headed my way east
Im on the seventh floor as it passed a straight line in front of me i got a real good look at it
it was white in the center as the light moved outward it gradually changed to orange and orange to a red glow there was also a pattern within the light it also had the most awesome glow to it unlike any other light i have ever seen before wow!!!!!!!!!!! i just stopped my jaw droped and i was in awe like i have never been before
The light seemed to move slow and effortlessly and without a sound totally silent but some how the light was covering lots of ground and moving away quickly that part i really dont get how something can appear to be moving slowly but still moving out of your vision quickly
As the light passed in front of me and away turning right now heading over lake ontario on a south east heading towards the united states it still seemed to be going slow but it began a steady climb upward maybe a 45 degree angle upward it begain to dim out on me untill it was just a little twinkle in the sky like a star and then nothing gone from my vision
The whole sighting was about a minute and a half from start to finish
All i can say is that i have always been a believer but im also a skeptic because im a need definitive proof kind of person and as far as im concerned now i have it thanks for listening
PS if you get any other kind of news on the sighting i described from last night could you maybe tell me i have been looking around the internet tv news to see if anyone else saw it last night it would really help me a lot to know im not the only one who saw that last night thanks

My husband and myself saw about 6 UFOs flying in formation over the night skies in Tonawanda,NY a suburb of Buffalo at 12:20 am on 1/1/13. We stopped the car and got out to better view them. There was an organish light with some white light coming from them. The lights appeared to form a triangle. There was no noise coming from them and they moved along slowly across the sky. I was wondering if there was anyone else who saw them in the Western New York area.
ReplyDeleteAt around 10:30pm last night in Houston, Texas, I, my husband, 3 friends and 2 neighbors saw about 3 waves of 2-3 at a time. 1 Amber/Orange light on each flying from SW to NE and flying low (we had a lot of cloud cover last night). Each seemed to be pretty small in size (not even the size of a small plane)and triangular in shape.
ReplyDeleteWow! My wife and I were on the Starfleet cruise on Clear Lake on New Years Eve and saw a bright Amber light quietly fly by at a low altitude right at about the same time (10:30PM)that you had your sighting. Could it be the same? Weird! What part of Houston are you in?
DeleteI live in Golden, CO and last night 12/31/12 I went out on my porch at 11:59 pm to ring in the New Year. I noticed a reddish/orange orb in the sky high above downtown Denver. I knew last night it was a UFO. I am so excited to see so many similar reports from all over the world. I believe our friends from other galaxies will soon help us to make this a better and more peaceful Earth.
ReplyDeleteOmg!!!! This is so so crazy I too have been looking for information on what I saw on New Years Eve... I saw some information and video coverage about it but then it was deleted and can't find any more information.. I live in Highlands Ranch Colorado - it was about 11:15pm 12-31-12 and I had just gone on the back porch to have a ciggarette when I saw something that looked like a plane on fire... I freaked out and yelled for my boyfriend to get my phone so I could tape it or call someone because it really looked as though there were flames and it scared me. It was not a steady straight line it kept going up and down wabbly like.. Then it started going farther up in the sky so we could still see it but then it disappeared.. That was definitly not an asteroid or meteor... So crazy!!!!!
DeleteLansdale, Pennsylvania. We saw the same thing, my neighbors and I. We all fame out at different times and we all looked up and saw it. At first glance it looked orange. I ran up to grab my binoculars and when I looked through it looked almost like a meteor. An orange ball with a small tail that was fanning out but no more than twice the length of the ball. It moved fairly slow. After I lost sight of it I went inside but my neighbors stayed out. She had said that it cane up from the ground in the distance hovered for about 10 seconds, then shot up and out of sight. I don't ever admit to seeing ufos but I have to rule out meteor because the sky was completely cloudy. This thing was flying under the clouds, whatever it was, and it was silent
ReplyDeleteDid any one else see 3 orange balls over Richmond / dc area? Around 12:05 am New Years 2013
ReplyDeleteIn Goodyear AZ we saw three red lights in a shape of a triangle moving together in the sky at around 12am. jan1 2013. they were not blinking so its not like they were planes. maybe a UFO or a comet. but definitely not something from earth
ReplyDeleteI just saw 5 glowing orange lights about a half hour ago while walking my friend home from a new years party . First two lights appeared in the sky about the size of a planet. Then 3 more . They hovered for a few minutes and then began forming into patterns. One formation the make looked like the big dipper. Then they just sorta disappeared .
ReplyDeleteAnyone see them lighrs lastnight over dublin Ireland, it was f#¥ king mad stuff
ReplyDeleteSame thing in Luxembourg (Europe)…between 12 and 1230 on the 1st. Three orange orbs moving to the north east. Straight line formation, slow, fading on the horizon, no sound, no blinking, no change in course. The last object lingered longer than the first two before fading.
ReplyDeleteI saw the flying orbs in Seattle Wa. The time was around 11:30-11:45pm. They appeared to make the shape of an arc and it was four of them flying at about the same altitude as an airplane. The glow was orange/yellowish and they moved at a slow steady speed. I've never seen a UFO before, but this definitely was not an air craft of our world. I would have to say the only thing I could think of that can describe the color of what I saw is an asteroid in our orbit, but still does not describe the perfect formation.
ReplyDeleteWe saw UFOs New years eve approx 9pm to past midnight in cranbourne near Melbourne. It was a glowing red orb that appeared from the horizon, then slowly made its way across the sky and disappeared, then it came back every half hour or so and did the circuit again. We saw this with a telescope and managed to capture video footage which we put on you tube, see uploader gowookie. I personally saw this through the telescope a few times and it looked like a glowing red orb, shimmering as though there was an intense heat surrounding it. I have a couple of theories, such as government spying or google spying but why isn't this global event being put in the media?
ReplyDeleteThis is either Sky lanterns or hot air balloons most likely
ReplyDeletethey definately ufo's because too many people are seeing them..
DeleteThe same thing I am reading (and I saw in Cupey, PR)happened in the eve of 2012. Since it was very cloudy I only saw a couple of them; last event I saw like fifteen of these lights. I want to be practical here and think of something logic like lanterns, but who is getting together to put this show all over the world? I am thinking Orientals. They live all over the world and they have this tradition to fly lanterns for the New Year. Just a guess!
ReplyDeleteIn Miami ...driving north on US1. 4am january 1st 2013. We saw 2 orange orbs cross our path then came to a hover. Eventually one accelerated straight up into the clouds. they had an aura to them. At first I thought..ok, maybe I had a little much new years celebration in me but I quickly caught on to the fact that this was not a plane or copter or even the RC drones that my brother flys around. They had an unearthly feel to them. This blog confirms what I saw. Could they be manmade? I suppose it's possible given our technology these days. The closet thing that comes to mind would be a quadcopter that would justify the ability to shoot off into the clouds as fast as the one did. But with all the same reports on this blog I find it hard to believe that RC hobby fanatics around the world all conspired to launch their quadcopters on new years eve by the dozens in each city all around the world. I'm convinced. These things are unearthly.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you
DeleteIn Miami, Dec 18th, 9:30pm, while walking my dogs in my neighborhood in kendall I saw coming from the Northside of town headed southward a fleet of round-saucer shaped crafts that were lighted with a bright infrared color , they were the size of a military chooper, were they travelled slowly by hovering motion at approximately 3000 ft, in comparison to the same altitude that small craft do travel within our airspace since we have an airport close in the area, then headed eastward toward the ocean. I stop counting at 26, because they were more still traveling through; this is where I realized is was a fleet with one craft leading their route. They cut across eastbound, over Miami Dade College, the formation was side by side as a military fleet of planes would travel, no sound whatsoever, unlike the cessnas or chopper that travel through our area can hear their engines clearly. I have photos that were taken from a distance by my neighbor with his iphone and is unprecedented. As they reached a higher altitude they disappeared in seconds. On Dec 31, 2012 or January 1, 2013 at 12:30am seven showed up above out street where the wind was travelling westward, and fire works were blasting away. my husband took one photo where you can see they were hovering, a silver metal material, round crafts, not one minute went by when we were focusing to video and take photos, and they took off. As they took off, they lighted up surronded with a bright light, like you see in our lights in our cars, then vertically inclined facing east and took off. I have video on one taking off; it has left us speechless and it is an unprecedented sighting. As I read this blog, more sightings are not only in Florida but worldwide. Please note in Bulgaria around the same time this happened same infrared objects were hovering over the city where a man took a clear photo with his tripod. A fleet of the same objects, as I saw them in Tuesday, Dec 18, 2012. What I saw was advanced technology that could never compare to lanterns. Also on Dec 31, it was cloudy and very windy, wind travelled westward, the UFO's lighted up, then took off eastward in seconds, something that lanterns are uncapable to do. Strangely, nothing was in the news about this even people in community were talking about it.
DeleteLancaster, Pennsylvania. January 1st 2013 00:20 I was standing on my front porch facing east when from the SE came 8 or 9 orange lights moving eastward in a straight line. They appeared from behind a group of trees and before they made their way behind my neighbors house directly across the street they kind of fizzled out. I could feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I stayed out for a good half hour to see if there were any more but none came.
ReplyDeletethere was alot of reports of them being spotted here in new zealand. made the national news. they tried to pass them off as chinese lanterns
ReplyDeleteIn Aurora, CO at approximately 8:15 PM on 12/31/12, I went to let the dogs in and saw 4 bright orange balls of light moving east to west in a straight line, one behind the other passing overhead just to the south of me. I called my wife to see the unusual sight.
ReplyDeleteI saw two immediately, then a third, and as the second one was disappearing into the oncoming clouds, a fourth was seen between the houses behind me to the east, following a little further behind the others, very bright and pretty low on the horizon, all about 10 miles apart. It was hard to get an idea of scale because it was dark, but they did not seem really big. There was no sound at all coming from them. They all pulsed or glimmered slightly, a little like they were on fire.
The sky was clear to the east, but light clouds were moving in from the northwest, and as the third one began to hit the incoming clouds, I noticed a very distinct cone shaped glow rotating in a clockwise, downward direction coming from the object. The cone seemed to be like an emission, not a spotlight, which at its narrowest was the diameter of the object and widened as it went downward about the distance four to six times the diameter of the object, but did not penetrate through the clouds any further than that.
A low flying airplane was traveling between the third and fourth object north to south, which appeared to make the fourth object to want to change course to be slightly northwest so it would come in behind the low flying airplane. In doing this the path of the last object went pretty much right over my house.
By then, light clouds were above me and I saw the cone shaped, orange emission rotating with large bright white lights rotating with and within the cone shape. It would be similar to if you took a showerhead and pivoted it around in a small circle, with the white lights being at its pivot point. I think there were about 8 to 12 lights symmetrically placed around, and in the center. It continued along at a medium, steady pace until it disappeared in the thicker clouds. I would say the speed of them were a little faster than the speed of a commercial airplane, with no erratic movements, and at a low cloud height.
The next evening I went out and watched the skies and had my mobile phone video camera ready. I took my phone out of my pocket to check the time, and said to myself, “well this is about the same time I saw them last night”… I looked up at that moment and saw another orange ball directly above me, moving west to east to southeast. It seemed to travel at a higher altitude, and at a little faster speed. The skies were clear, so I did not see any rotating emissions. The object seemed to be gaining altitude when it flickered and disappeared. I did get some video of the single object, but it was nothing like I saw the night before on New Years Eve.
My husband and I saw 2 UFO s over Barbados between 11 and 1 am on dec 31 2012. It was like 2 red dots in the sky, similar to the video above of the sighting in te Philippines.
ReplyDeletesushi i live in barbados and i have also seen these
ReplyDeleteHello from bangkok thailand, I saw the exact same thing, around 10pm. Looked like a star, still standing, dark red, fading away
ReplyDeleteSaw it over the Berkeley hills at 12:31 am Jan 1st. Same thing, it was large, orangish red, flickering, then just disappeared.
ReplyDelete
